Save the Whale.

Close to extinction and certainly in need of love - Enter the Whale. 

Otherwise know as a CBR 918 Fireblade " The Whale" will be with me for a few weeks getting that special kind of Sitramoto touch in preparation for a season in EMRA Pre-injection class with YEWSY racing.

I think its fair to say .. it needs help! 

UPDATE 08/02

The build continues and we are steadily crossing off 'to do's ' rear suspension is all back in and linkage bearings renewed.  Valve train is open and awaiting clearances to be reset. 

The carbs have been fully stripped and cleaned in the ultrasonic bath and the dynojet kit fully checked over... maybe 'the whale' can breathe once more. 

UPDATE 01/02

Following at least 4 years dormant in a damp barn the whale has undergone a full strip down and assessment of overall condition - it has been decided there is hope of resurrection!!

Currently the to do list is long and extremely undistinguished but it seems Gary is smitten! Suspension is off and away for a refresh with his other sponsor... ( dont, just dont!!) but the rest is all over to us.
